We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work alongside class teachers in EYFS to support the individual needs of a child with learning difficulties. Candidates would need to show knowledge and understanding of learning difficulties, especially autism, and the learning methodologies associated with best practice.
The Governors and Headteacher of Ashbury Meadow Primary School are looking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and experienced SEND teaching assistant to work in our outstanding school.
The candidate must have experience of working with autistic pupils with significant communication needs and preferably have experience of working with pupils in EYFS, either within a specialist or mainstream provision. Evidence of relevant professional development would also be beneficial
Ashbury Meadow Primary School is a vibrant, multicultural school with a SureStart children's centre attached. It is an outstanding school, with two form entry from nursery to year 6. At present we have a hard working, highly motivated staff; who are totally dedicated to the children at our school.
