Conquering Challenging Behaviour For Effective Learning

Creating a climate for learning – proactive strategies to minimise disruption and encourage good pupil behaviour.

This is an interactive, practical, realistic and enjoyable course. You will be provided with a whole range of practical and realistic strategies that can be implemented the very next day to effectively manage and motivate pupils behaviour and learning. This is a course delivered by a practitioner for practitioners !

The primary focus is to provide strategies to deal with inappropriate behaviour in a quick, effective and non-confrontational manner. The course also looks at ways to plan for good behaviour, whilst motivating pupils to behave and minimising disruption in the first place.

PLEASE NOTE:   Due to COVID-19 Invoices for this course will be processed after the course taking place (if it goes ahead).  Please ensure that your Finance Office/Head/Principal at your school/college are aware of any bookings being made and that delegates are authorised to attend.  Please also ensure that bookings are made via the appropriate method stated above. Booking confirmations inc. directions will be emailed to delegates approximately 7 days before the course date.  Delegates who turn-up at venues without a booking being made via the appropriate channels and without a booking confirmation may not, for security reasons, be allowed entry into the venue.

If you need to cancel a booking, please give at least 7 days (written) notice by email to: teacherdevelopment@manchester.gov.uk.  Late cancellations will still be chargeable if a replacement booking cannot be made.
