Manchester Young Lives is looking for someone to work as part of a team providing a structured education and personal development programme to young people between the ages of 11 and 16, who are not attending mainstream education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operational management of a designated Centre. They will be required to lead and manage a small team, to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other agencies, and to deliver positive outcomes for students which helps them to overcome barriers to learning. The successful candidate will also be required to work with the Senior Leadership Team in implementing strategies which contribute to improvements in performance & behaviour for all students.

Manchester Young Lives (MYL) is a registered charity that has been working with children and young people in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Manchester for over 40 years.

We consistently challenge issues such as social exclusion and disaffection through our work in centres, in our established independent school, and at street level through our outreach work.
