Ashgate School requires a Lunchtime Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate does not need experience but must be sensitive to children with additional needs.
Duties include supervising children in the dining room and on the playground. Intimate personal care is a feature of this post so the successful person must be able to carry out these duties to the highest hygiene standards. Although not compulsory, overtime is often available for this role.
The candidate will demonstrate a keen interest and involvement in working with children and young people. They will be patient and be committed to enriching the children's lunchtime break.

The above post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
