An exciting opportunity has arisen at the East Manchester Academy for a Student Services Administrator who is reliable and conscientious to take a vital role within the school in the academy's front office.

You will have a flexible approach to the role and be willing to carry out a wide variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Student Services function and to meet the needs of the Academy.

You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, and you will have good communication skills with students, parents and teachers alike.

The successful applicant will have a good standard of education and be able to plan and manage tasks efficiently.

You will also need to be able to communicate at all levels and work patiently with students aged 11 and over.

You will have a personal drive to complete tasks to the required timescales and quality standards.

You will need flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands and new school challenges.

The candidate should demonstrable the ability to operate various software packages, e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel, and information technology systems and equipment.

The candidate should also have good communication skills, for effective interaction with service users, colleagues and members of the public and good literacy and numeracy skills to accurately complete and maintain relevant records and produce reports.

The East Manchester Academy is a vibrant and innovative educational community in the heart of Beswick, and is a member of the Education and Leadership Trust with Whalley Range 11-18 High School and Levenshulme High School.
