Didsbury CofE Primary School Learning Support Assistant

Didsbury CE Primary School requires a part-time Learning Support Assistant for 15 hours a week to start on Monday 3rd June. This position is Temporary, Part Time, Term Time Only initially running until 31/08/2019.

Job details

The position will be to support a child in Year Three with Special Educational Needs.

The role will be to support the class teacher in meeting the needs of a pupil with an EHCP and ensuring that the child makes good progress throughout the year. This will involve supporting the pupil in all curriculum areas but particularly with social communication, emotional regulation, maths and English, reading and writing.

We are looking for a supportive and patient person who ideally has had previous experience in supporting individual children within a classroom setting.
