The governors are seeking to appoint a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant, specialising in SEND/Autism to help us deliver a high quality education to one of our young people, this is a full time and temporary post for 12 months in the first instance to start September 2019. Term Time Only.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring that SEND pupils make excellent progress both academically and pastorally.
The role will involve supporting a pupil with autism, who has limited social communication skills, through supporting them individually, in pairs and in groups.
The ideal candidate will possess an excellent knowledge of a range of strategies to develop language, communication and interaction skills in pupils with autism, as well as an understanding of how to engage them in the learning taking place in the classroom.
