The Governors seek to appoint a well motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team.
Possessing substantial EYFS/KS1 experience the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate high standards of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Experience of working with children with special needs is desirable.
Rodney House is an outstanding provision (Ofsted March 2017) that is in the process of expanding to include upper Key Stage 2. All children have complex and/or significant learning needs as described in the individual Education Health and Care Plans.
We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, younger learners and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. The above post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
