Your role will be to support an identified class, as well as running tailored interventions for small groups of children and we are looking for somebody to start as soon as possible, following relevant checks and references.
If selected for interview, the recruitment process will involve an interview, observation of your interactions with a small group of children and a basic skills test in English and maths.
Applicants must have recent experience of working in a Key Stage 2 classroom and be able to demonstrate the impact they have had in any previous roles.
You will need excellent numeracy and literacy skills, high expectations of children's achievement, demonstrate initiative when setting up and enhancing the learning environment and support us in maintaining our outstanding standards of behaviour.
We are a good school teaching children aged 3-11, with outstanding leadership & management and behaviour & safety (Ofsted 2019).
We are a large school, serving a diverse community of over 430 pupils, including 22 different languages being spoken. We are situated in Blackley Village, four miles from the city centre, with good transport links.
We have extensive school grounds, including a field, running track and woodland garden, which provide our children with a range of outdoor learning opportunities.
