Salary: Grade 4 £16,764 (point 7) to £18,146 (point 11) per annum - actual salary to reflect term time working.
35 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (i.e. 39 weeks per academic year)
We currently have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant to support the learning of students with additional or special educational needs in lessons and in small intervention groups.
The role is subject to a 6 month probation period.
What we're looking for
Suitable candidates will have previous experience of working with children/young people in an educational setting. You must be able to co-ordinate and organise resources effectively and possess the ability to motivate students, acting as a positive role model for individuals and groups of students.
As a member of the Academy's Student Support Team you will support our students to achieve their challenging targets.
