Assistant Principal: Teaching and Learning
Leadership Range 14-18: £56,579 - £62,426 per annum
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join oursenior leadership team during an exciting phase of Academy expansionand development. The outstanding candidate willlead and develop teaching and learning strategies for all students, but with a focus on strategies to improve the knowledge, understanding and progress of disadvantaged students and SEND students.
Reporting to the Vice Principal (Standards),and with responsibility for both the strategic leadership of a core faculty area, and a specific year group;this rolewill be accountable for theprovision ofa comprehensive range of outstandingprofessional development activitiesfor staff,including the leadership and coordination of the staff performance management and review system.
There will be responsibility for the organization and development of MHA's NQT and trainee teachers program.

Manchester Health Academy opened in September 2009 and is sponsored by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. In September 2010 the Academy moved into a £20 million state-of-the-art building and to accommodate a growing student population we have recently completed a further £10 million expansion project.
