An exciting, new opportunity has arisen for an Internal Exclusion Room Co-Ordinator to provide support within our fantastic school in Wythenshawe, in order to raise standards and help achieve the aims of the school.
The successful applicant will be expected to work with the Pastoral Team to effectively supervise students who have been internally excluded in line with the school's behaviour and learning policy and to co-ordinate the re-integration process.
The successful candidates will need to:-
- Promote the importance of inclusion with the students not exclusion
- Demonstrate that they are proactive and able to use their own initiative to make decisions within the scope of their role
- Demonstrate the confidence to communicate clearly and effectively with groups of students and in one to one situations
- Demonstrate the resilience to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy but also to follow up with tenacity when upholding school policies
- Show they have the relevant skills to write reports and keep detailed records
You will be fully supported by teachers and colleagues.
