We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to fulfill a dual role during the school week.
Part of the week will be class based, supporting the classroom teacher and ensuring that our children make great progress through the year. This would involve support in all areas of the curriculum, leading intervention groups and assisting the teacher in whole class teaching.
The other aspect of the role will be to deliver catch up support sessions under the direction of a teacher, to a variety of small groups of children in Key Stages 1 and 2.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to ensuring that children make sustained educational progress.
The successful candidate must be able to carry out assessment of the children, deliver teaching sessions to groups of children under the direction of the teacher, and to lead a Planning Preperation and Assessment session.
As a Church of England Academy we expect the successful candidate to support the Christian ethos of the school.
