We are looking for a dynamic, cover teacher to join our team at Green End Primary School in Burnage.

Would you relish the opportunity to work with highly motivated and innovative staff who always put the children first and have the highest aspirations for each individual?

This isa temporary, one year contractto cover classes for PPA and staff release from Nursery to year 6. As this position is not in one class, it would not be suitable for an NQT to complete as their NQT year. The position is full time, however we will consider part time and job share applications as well as requests for flexible working. The most important thing to us, is that we find the right person for our children, team and community.

The successful candidate will be creative and innovative in their approach to learning, someone who can demonstrate a strong track record of outstanding teaching. They will be a creative and highly motivated professional who has a very positive, 'can do' attitude. A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential.

As part of the first stage of the assessment process, we would like to see you teach a 15 minute English lesson in your own school. You will need to be able to video this. If you are shortlisted, you will need to be able to make your video available to us by the 17thMay and so this will need preparing in advance.

We will use these lesson observations to shortlist for the second stage of the assessment process.

Green End Primary is part of the Kingsway Community Trust a Multi Academy Trust, which is also made up of Cringle Brook Primary School and Ladybarn Primary School. This provides the staff and children of both schools with enhanced development and networking opportunities. All schools in the Trust are Ofsted graded Outstanding.
