A qualified and enthusiastic teacher of English is needed from 1 September 2021 to teach English at Key Stages 3 and 4 to cover maternity leave.

The department is well resourced with access to excellent facilities. The quality of teaching and learning is high. There is strong distributed leadership and teamwork. Pupils make excellent progress at all levels.
We are as committed to staff well-being as to pupil wellbeing. Full time staff work four and half days a week, but paid for 5 days, the secondary phase closes at 12:30 every Friday for all staff and pupils.
We place a great focus on staff development, at all levels with an extensive programme of professional development which offers a whole range of opportunities for colleagues' development.
Abraham Moss is an inclusive school where children flourish. There is barrier-free provision for pupils with physical disabilities. Development of language across the school is key therefore English as an Additional Language teaching is a strength.
