This is a permanent post working 4 days a week, 5 hours per day

The Trust Finance and Payroll Manager has the key responsibility for the payroll, management accounts, VAT and oversees the work on the purchase ledger. Reporting to the Finance Director and Operations Manager the postholder also has one direct report.

We need a candidate who has the knowledge and experience to carry out the duties, preferably somebody with an accountancy qualification who has worked in an education setting. It would suit a busy person who has a strong attention to detail and is happy keeping to deadlines.

The role would work well around family commitments.

The Children of Success Schools Trust is responsible for two large primary schools in Wythenshawe where the needs of the community are very high.

You will be working across two schools but located predominately at The Willows. Staff are dedicated to the children and there is a great friendly atmosphere within the schools, where everybody is made to feel welcome.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, younger learners and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. The above post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

All posts must satisfy The Trust of their health and physical capacity, advice will be sought from Employee Health & Wellbeing at Wythenshawe Hospital.
