Job details

The position will be to support a child in Key Stage 1 with Special Educational Needs. The initial contract will run until 31st August and is renewed on a yearly basis. The role will be to support the class teacher in meeting the needs of a pupil who is presenting with some social and communication needs and who struggles with emotional regulation. This will involve supporting the pupil in all curriculum areas but particularly maths and English.

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who is supportive, patient and resilient and who has ideally worked previously with children who have social and communication needs. As a Church of England Academy we expect the successful candidate to support the Christian ethos of the school. See the person specification for more details.
