Job details

The Governors of the CLIC Trust wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant in KS2 for Old Moat Primary School. We are looking for someone who is a dedicated and highly motivated person, able to provide high quality support.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can deliver high quality support to pupils with additional needs
  • Has a good understanding of the KS2Curriculum and assessment
  • can deliver specific support to raise the attainment of under-performing children and groups
  • can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
  • is committed to high standards and able to assist in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
  • can work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
  • can keep detailed notes on progress and attainment
  • is able to work effectively as part of a team
  • has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
