We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at Claremont Primary School.

This post will involve individual, group and whole class work under the direction of a class teacher and supporting in Key Stage Two.

The contract is for an academic year initially, subject to review.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Numeracy/Literacy skills at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2
  • Have employed experience as a Teaching Assistant Level 3
  • Have high expectations of children's achievement
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be very well organised and contribute to a highly effective team
  • Have responsibility for the care, guidance and support of children with Special Educational Needs
  • Be reliable and enthusiastic
