The school and governors wish to appoint a enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant who is committed and passionate about Early Years children and teaching.

We have 1 full time (Term Time only) post - 38 weeks plus 5 additional days.

Actual Term Time Only Salary (£16,029)

We are looking to start the successful candidate as soon as possible, after necessary checks have been completed.

We are looking for staff who have some experience of working in an Early Years setting or with Early Years children and aknowledge of the new EYFS Framework.

Experience of delivering phonics to individual children or small groups would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with Early Years children
  • Will support more senior team members in delivering high quality learning and development moments
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Framework
  • Be happy to work across all of our classrooms (ages 6 months to 5 years)
  • Be someone who works hard to develop children's potential and move them on in learning.
  • Enthuse, motivate and engage children
  • Be committed to high standards and able to assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of sessions
  • Be able to work as part of a team but also have the confidence to work independently when needed.
  • Keep detailed notes on attainment and progress
  • Have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
